 The scheduled backups do not work sometimes. An attempt to start a backup manually stalls it at the "Create Backup" screen. Selecting the "Cancel"button locks up the computer. You cannot exit the program. Control/alt/delete does nothing. A soft reboot is required when this happens.I like the ease of use. When it does run, it does it very quickly. I'm backing up two separate hard drives to an external hard drive.

 Reflect Free works nice, but startup problems Hi, I have searched for a freeware disk image program. I am running Vista Ultimate (64 bit). Not all the available programs are able to run with this OS. Others have a difficult interface, to few options or are slow. Macrium Reflect matches my wishes very good. But I was disappointed, because after a first backup, to try and get used with the program, at the end (25 minutes work) it gave an write disk error. The FAQ couldn't help me, so I uninstalled the program. But I couldn't find a good alternative, so again installed Reflect, en took 2 hours to search ...
 Macrium Reflect Free Edition (NOT!) I've tried for several months to download Macrium Reflect Free Edition, but try as I might the download will simply not complete. It gets part way through and stops. I've tried different platforms, different download managers, different sites, different browsers -- but always the same result. The download never finishes, and quite frankly I'm sick of it burning up my download quota!I've finally come to the conclusion that Macrium is so paranoid that they don't actually want anyone using their free software -- a point proven because they are so rude they don't bother to respond to email request ...
Seems Good Haven't tried all the possibilities yet but it is a very easy to use program. Given that MS backup failed inexplicably to restore files when needed, just at the time that I was evaluating Macrium Reflect, it seems to me that there was a good incentive to take up the full version ASAP, which I have done.Good Work

I accidently did a quick format of my drive, and your software recovered nothing. Thanks anyway.
 Data Extraction If a demo of a product is offered, you could at least offer some full use of the utility. I was able to view files on my client's drive but was unable to verify the ability to extract files from his drive to a working drive. If this product was successful, I may have considered the purchase, however, my client has lost all his information now due to a re-format.
Excellent! Wasn't aware of your program before i had to search for a solution to my HDD needing reformating after an error. I needed a solution to recover my important data and your program did the job brilliantly, even after a reformat...
 Test recovery This is the only program that showed me the exact data that was lost (not file001, file002, ... etc...)
The only problem is that demo version doesn't allow recovery of any files (for testing purposes - others have limitation for demo recovery of 500kb of total filesize recovered)

Look forward to trying SA pro I have only installed and looked at the analyser thus far, I will need to do a bit of learning to appreciate it's possibilities.However it seems nicely laid out and presents as a very useful tool if one explored it's capabilities.
